Close year with 2 period indicators

Hello,

My customer is running calendar year from Jan 1st to Dec 31th

For such year he defined period indicator: for 2009 one indicator and for 2010 other indicator.

However u2013

His business year is from July 1st till June 30th.

He would like to close his business year soon: 1st July 2009 till 30th of June.

Are there any affects that we should be aware of by closing a year that has two period indicators? (such as affect on reports etc.)
