Discount Condition Types

Hi Friends,

I have two condition types which we use for discounts. Letu2019s say K123 & K111. The condition records have maintained for both letu2019s say 3% with proper validity period (not maintained upper and lower limits). My requirement is when someone changes the condition greater than 3 % in condition tab and try to deliver there should appear an error message like u201Csales order blocked for delivery: standard procedureu201D. When we see in VA02/VA03 the fields delivery and billing block will be filled automatically with message Standard procedure (at sales order over view page)

It is working fine with K123 but NOT for K111. I compared the condition types everything is similar, but why it is not working for K111? I do not think it is relevant for impletion control configuration as here the sales & delivery document types, item category everything is same. We cannot assign impletion control for condition types can we? Has anyone idea how to fix this issue.

Thanks & Regards,

Sats.

PS: I know that if we maintain upper and lower limit in condition records, system throws error message if the discount percentage greater than the limit and prevents to save the sales order, but I want it as I explained above without maintain lower and upper limits.

Have you compared in V/06 for these condition types where you would have ticked or not ticked some boxes for K123 whereas it is missing for K111

thanks

When I see the reason for blocking shipping configuration I saw delivery block ZX (Standard procedure) has been activated to (check boxes) Order, Picking, Goods.

In this case condition types K123 & K111 belongs to one item from the same sales order. Hence delivery block ZX to order type must not be the problem. Can anyone tell me, +whether is it possible to assign delivery block to condition types?+

We cannot assign Delivery Blocks to condition types. Instead you can apply the Delivery Block to Line item > Schedule lines based on the logic for any condition types.

Thank you. but i have only item/ scheduling line here, when I change the K123 condition percentage system is blocking the order for delivery but when I change K111 system is not blocking the order. I don't understand where does it has the control.

Thank you both for your inputs.

@ G. Lakshmipathi

I have compared both condition types in V/06. only difference is K111 is maintained as both header and item conditions where as K123 is only as item condition. I thought it did not make any difference, however just to make sure, I unchecked the header box for K111 tested it in sandbox but it did not work.

@MT

In V/08 it is like this

Step ctyp From To

116 K123

117 K111 100 116

And both have the same the same routine (Item cat. ZABC) when I see item cat. ZABC it is 100% rebate.

Do you see any hint here?

Hi Sats,

Please also check in your pricing procedure V/08.

For both the condition type which routine has been assigned and compare.
