Dear Experts,
I have few queries regarding trans plann point.
Can i define n nos of transportation planning point.
coz in
Transportation -- Shipment Costs -- Settlement -- Assign Purchasing Data
i am getting error while creating different purchasing org, diff purc group with diff plant coz i have already assigned defined transportation planning point with shipment cost - purc org - pur grp - plant.
System is not allowing me to create different purc org with same transportation plann point.
While creating shipment cost document system picks up shipment cost - purc org - pur grp - plant from --
--===Transportation -- Shipment Costs -- Settlement -- Assign Purchasing Data
We have n nos of purc org with diff pur grp, as well as plant.
Guys please suggest.
Thanks
Shri..
it should be equal no of TPPT's of respective purchasing activities monitored at.
such as if you are procuring services eg: transportation from the third party / service provided in various locations & you want to capture this transportation cost location wise, then it is always better to have that much no of TPPT's-
else you can have different shipment costs based on mode of transports such as: Road / Rail & sea.

Yes, you can define n number of transportation planning point. Definition of transportation planning point is based upon you transportation planning activities and planning offices. If your transportation is managed by each plant then better to define different transportation planning point. If you have central transportation planning then define only one transportation planning point.
