Year end activity- Need to change the Profit Centre and Product Hierarchy

Dear All,

Please give some inputs, on how to proceed with year end activity?

My client is changing the Product Hierarchy and Profit Centre for 600 Materials, now they want to update the new Product Hierarchy and Profit Centre for open sales order on 1st April. Is there any way to do? if you have faced same issue in your client, please let me know the best way.

Since we have huge no of open orders, and for 600 material means its huge task.

created ne program called standard BAPI to change the PC/PH.

I hope you have checked with FICO consultant before going ahead.

As far as I know if you have created material documents and loaded stock on material u cannot change or delete profit center unless everything has been settled.

In CIN library you will get details regarding year end activity.For SD part generally it is similar to cut over activity ,finishing off open transactions regarding stock movement .Either they are halted or completely finished till invoice.

compiling reports on other open items.and FG inventory check along with MM. For CIN part compliation of ER1 report.

Hi Ramki,

As per my understanding

You create "LSMW " for 600 materials with new "Product Hierarchy" and "Profit Centre" once this is through

Any have you have open sales Orders "Which has not been delivered" So go to VA02 -

---

Select all Line items and Delete---->

and in same sales Order you give new Materials which you have created through "LSMW".

The new materials will reflect with new Profit centre and new product hierachy at order.
