I have done that and imported and it got imported successfully in PI.

Where do i see the structure exactly in PI.

I dont know to which Software Component version it got imported and it is not found in the change list also.

check my previous reply.

For IR there will be no change lists when u import, by default it will be active.

Note: May be you can check most recent CLOSED change lists.

TPZ files get imported properly only if the Software component version & Namespace names are IDENTICAL in both source(where you export the objects from) and target system(where you import them).

If these names are not identical it wont get imported. But remember, it wont throw an error. Would still give you a message saying : Imported Successfully . But actually you wont see it anywhere in IR.

Hence, 1st make sure your namespace & SWCV names are IDENTICAL and then check for the objects.

P.S : In IR they are automatically activated whereas you need to activate them manually in case of ID.

Sherin,

Assuming that your on PI 7.0 here is what you need to do, in order to find where the objects reside.

Open up ur Int. Repository

select :

Tools-> Find Transports -> Direction (Import) ; User(your id or select All) [Give the correct date range and filter criteria]; Date[correct date whn you imported] ; Status: [All]-> Hit search

you will get a list of imported objects, double click on your particular import, you;'l get a new window that will have 2 tabs, Attributes{properties of your imported objects}

Transported Objects{the detail of all the objects included in the transport}

When you did an export from the previous environment, at what level did you move the objects? At the namespace level or SWCv/ SWC level?

Hope this helps...

In general, part of TPZ file name indicates which SWCV, until unless somebody renames it.
