Netweaver wrong link

Hi,

I got a problem in monitoring/SystemInfo after netweaver7.0 installation-

Once the Netweaver7.0 installation completed I wanted to check what is the current patch level. So, I opened the below link

http://10.10.10.10:50000/index.html

Now I clicked on System Information then one new explorer opens with http://10.10.10.10:50000/monitoring/SystemInfo link.

Here I get

The request cannot be processed.

Details: com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.exceptions.ServletNotFoundException: Requested resource [/SystemInfo] not found.

The new link is not correct. the correct link is http://10.10.10.10:50000/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

So, my question is by default why the wrong link is displaying. The sap word is missing in the wrong link.

I did not face this type of issue in my other installed systems.

Anywhere the links are configured?

Please give me some solution.

Hi Sudip,

Did you refer SAP Note 1233282 for your problem.

IF no , then pls impliment the above SAP note , it will reoslve your problem.

We are already on Netweaver SP20. And the note is saying The URL is fixed in SAP NetWeaver 7.0, SP17.

Hi Anil,

I thing you did not understand my problem. I know which URL is correct and which is incorrect.

My question is why SAP has giving wrong URL by clicking on System Information in the Netweaver browser page.

And host file entry is no where related to this problem. when you use host name instead of IP address in the URL then you require host file entry.

Hi Sudip,

For your problem pls impliment the below SAP note :-

SAP Note 1291202 - SystemInfo application does not open.

SAP is stil working the problem which you are facing, In this note there is a workaround for the problem which you are facing.

Hi Sudip,

Please check the below link with your host and port number of serevr.

http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo

As per your issue, it looks like, you have not Updated your server IP address and host name in host file entry at (RUN > drivers > etc > host file), Please update it and then check.
