How to handle External Def (XSD) with more than 20 xsd references

Hi I have a xsd file which I need to import in my external definition, however the Main XSD has references to three external xsd's which inturn have few more xsd references. So its something like this

MAIN XSD -

>Three XSD References -

>each with Five or More xsd References ,

Is there a simpler way to handle these kind of definitions other than creating a Ext Def for each and referencing it under the External references Tab.

For your reference you could have a look at the xsd file

http://www.unece.org/uncefact/data/draft/CrossIndustryInvoice_1p0prc.xsd

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Other alternative is you cam make one XSD ,instead of reference section just you can copy and paste the reference XSD content in Main XSD file,if you hav XML Spy,you can do it.

finally you are going to use only one XSD file,no more references.

Regards,

Raj

Hi,

The reference given by Abhishek above is certainly helpful.

The new feature of SAP PI7.1: Mass Import for External Definitions

Hopefully you are working on SAP PI7.1.

Otherwise, you can ZIP the whole content (also the includes) as a Toolkit and import it in imported archives.
