When you change a purchase order, sales order or some other object in SAP-ERP, the corresponding data record is locked to prevent parallel changes. When a transaction crashes, such locks may not be deleted, and the object may be blocked for change. There are transactions to view and delete such lock entries (e.g. SM12).
In S/4Hana Cloud objects are also locked (at least I noticed it for a purchase order), but I have not found any app to view or delete these locks. Does anyone know if there is a way to delete old lock entries? May be locks are removed once you log off?
Regards, Frank
No I don't think there is an app for this but the locked notification should indicate which user the system identifies is processing the document. Usually having that user sign out and sign back in should fix.
Make sure users either save or cancel changes before exiting an app. Not doing so before clicking the close button on the browser for example, seems to cause the document to remain locked.

Sign out and Sign back in. That should remove the lock entry.
