I am new to the Hana migration cockpit (transactions LTMC and LTMOM) and I would like to know if this functionality is only use to load and extend NEW data rather than change existing data, similar to the way LSMW is used?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Hi Austin.
Yes, you can change data in the system. LTMC uses BAPI's to integra with SAP. So, since you have a BAPI (standard or customized) to implement a new migration object it's possible to upload data.
For instance, I developed a new migration object using BAPI_ROUTING_MAINTAIN to add inspection characteristics in the routings.
There is a Z function, because I needed to add the TESTRUN parameter.
Good luck!

Hi,
Thanks for that, but we never know the quality of courses being offered. Might be too vague.
I managed to find a Migration Object that extends Customers organisational records - now I just have to figure out how to extract the templates etc.
Thanks anyway.
Austin
