BOM Explosion with split valuated material (Batch management)!

Hi SAP GURUS

We have a scenario in which Finish goods are manufactured exploding BOM which have some split valuated component( Batch is implemented ). We have different supplier for the same component so we implemented split valuation.Same component is used in other Finished goods where according to priority(STOCK DETERMINATION STRATEGY ) BOM is exploding .

But in some Finish goods we need only particular supplier raw material (component ) for consumption,because of customer demand of high quality.

Please guide me how we can explode BOM for valuated material so that we can use particular component's only for decided Finished Goods production.

Hi Pankaj,

You can maintain the stock separate supplier wise storage location. After that you define the different stock determination rule/Batch search procedure based on the supplier wise Sto location.Same you apply the during goods issue.Else you try your own Custom program.

Hi Prasath Elumalai.

Component issue against production order is according to BOM explosion not flexible , but Component is split valuated so it have lots of supplier , so i want consumption only by dedicated supplier for some cases.

e.g. component A : SUPPLIER IS AAA,BBB,CCC

I want for some cases component will consume only CCC type .

But other material priority is set 1st consume AAA then BBB then CCC

Hi Pankaj,

As per my understanding you wanted to have flexible component issue against production order by automatically.Even though material are assigned with stock determination rule.

You have to select the batch while issuing material(Split Valuation component Batch-ROH) against production order.

Since material assigned with stock determination rule it cannot be automated wrt the finished product.
