Hi Everyone,
Can anyone tell me why ABAP dumps are stored only for 14 days by default. I know that we can store the dumps for longer periods also as per our requirement.
But i was concerned as where it is defined that dumps will be stored for 14 days, in some table or parameter.
I would really appreciate if any one can provide some link or links to know the details of ABAP dumps. Beacause when i tried to search i was not able to get very detailed articles or white papers.
Cheers...
You didn't do enough reading... old dumps are deleted via a standard job SAP_REORG_ABAPDUMPS, that job call program RSSNAPDL and its the variant that determine the scope of the deletion.
Regards
Juan
