Hi Gurus,

I have installed Solution Manager EHP1 with Windows Server 2003 64 bit with DB2 database. Today i was Patching the JAVA instance with SP05. The patching was successful with JSPM Deployed it without any Error. After the patching the JAVA instance is missing from MMC. I also tried to login to java http:<hostname><port> with Internet explorer but nothing appear.I check in Task Manager but the JLaunch or any other J process doenst appear anymore. So confirmed the java instance is not running. For your information i didnt change any Memory setting for java instance after installation. I am very new to this java enviroment. Can someone help me solve this production issue please.

Hi gurus, Thanks for everyone's help in regards to this issue. I managed to solve the problem by increasing the HEAP memory of the Bootstrap according to this note . Note 1143584 - Service FontManagerService: Native files were not expanded

Hi,

Set below parameters in instance profile (ABAP).

j2ee/instance_id = ID0017492 (check your system java instance id - Config tool)

rdisp/j2ee_start_control = 1

rdisp/j2ee_start = 1

restart the SAP instance. it will show your mmc

If not happen please reregister the service again.

1) Copy SAPMMC.dll and Sapstartsrv.exe from Kernal dir to Windows/system32

2) Run <Kernal path>\sapstartsrv.exe and select uninstall

3) Run <Kernal>\sapstartsrv and install (give inputs)

This should work.

Thanks

Jibin.
