Name prefixes not getting updated in NWDS

Hi All,

I have created a name prefix by going to SLD--> Name reservation . I have created one for software component.My track was created before i created the name prefix ..now if i go to my NWDS and import the track and try to create a new DC i dont see the new name prefix ..can i do some thing to get the new name prefix updated..

Hi Tarun

Once you create name reservation in SLD, try to udate CMS "Update CMS" in Landscape configurator.

Now again reimport track in NWDS, it will allow you to create with your new name reservation

I did that already ..i went to domain data and clicked on 'Update CMS' but it will not get the newly added prefix ..it shows the newly added software components but not name prefixes ..did you happen to create a name prefix after the track has been created.

Hi Tarun,

Have you restarted the SLD after name reservation ? Yes, new Name prefix will show even after created after track.

Please try again after restarting SLD.
