Hi folks,
I'm having the same issue on a Win2003 EE x64. The Web interface is extremely slow. We investigated and found that the compilation of ASP pages gives for sure a high performance penalty but even when this step is done, we still have a performance issue. The w3wp.exe processes consume quite some CPU power (up to 45-50%) for simple ASP page requests ...
Any idea?
Server characteristics
VMware (yes, I know but it's a DEV machine) ESX 4, 4 vCPUs, 4 GB RAM
Win2003 Enterprise Edition x86_64
BPC 7.5 for NW SP4
Hi Sorin
This problem manifests itself constantly. The TCP/IP communication is all ok. I checked system journal - all ok. May be problem with long time compilation web pega in ASP... but I dont know how to check it.
P.S.
I tested the installation Web server on windows 2003 se SP2 x32 - I had an excellent result.
Thank you.

Hi Vitali,
do you have this problem first time when you open the client?
Or this happen always (2 minutes for login?)
Check the event viewer warning and errors from Application folder.
If someything is there may be this is the real issue.
Also I will check the TCP/IP communication between .Net server and NW application server.
Firewall and antivirus to be disable for testing purpose into application server.
Try again and let us the results.
Regards
Sorin Radulescu

Hi Vitali,
Is that the configuration for BPC MS or BPC NW?
If it is BPC NW did you look at potentially increasing your RAM? That is quite low. In fact my laptop has more RAM than that.
Cheers, Scott
