Error when activating update rule

Hi,

I am facing a problem hile transporting the contents to Quality system

The error is

Start of the after-import method RS_UPDR_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) UPDR (Activation Mode).

Error when activating update rule 7GNITED43DIZDNC5HO602C6FR

Activation of the update rules for 0SRVE_O3 80SRCF_D2

IC=0SRVE_O3 IS=80SRCF_D2 error when checking the update rules

Its taking so much of time for me to assign the same objects again and again

can anyone kindly help me out regarding the same.

We are also facing the same problem when moving the transport from Dev to QA, checked all the objects but they are same in both systems. could you please tell us how did you resolve the problem ?

Hi,

login in the production system and check the update rule. go to all rules (keyfigure and characteristics).

=> you see there the message error.

Or was there a generation problem?

=> transport the update rule again.

Hi,

try to activate the update rule again and transport it.

the better way is to transport all dependent object like cube, UR, IS, data source in one request.

goto rsa1->transport connection->update rules and select your update rules. collect all the objects properly and transport again.

make sure all the objects in target system is active and use overwrite method while importing the request.

Kindly check the error log completely. I guess there are some missing info objects or elements which are required but not transported along with. Identify them and transport them along with the update rule or before update rule, the error may not occur.
