Are you doing the installation as administrator?
Is that key existing in the registry?
Markus
Hi,
In some cases such problems are seen due to Antivirus issue even though you are performing the SAP Installation under local/domain Administrator user.
Have you tried to resume your Installation process after disabling/removing Antivirus (if it is there..) ? You can re-install the antivirus again after the completion of SAP Installation.

Hi,
ERROR 2010-03-18 16:46:18

See the service name "oypjta" (Random Carracter)
The problem is not because of Antivirus but VIRUS (Trojens, Rootkit)
Few names are Worm/Kido.bo [Avira], W32/Conficker.worm.gen.a [McAfee], I-Worm.Kido.c [QuickHeal]
To check, simply log on as Administrator, open registry editor and navigate to "'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\oypjta".
If you able to browse the key on next level, it may not be a entry created by a VIRUS. But if you get "Access Denied" message, it is definately a virus. It will be pointed to the "Recycle bin" or" "System Information" Folder and some of them even points to the "C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs" with some system related description. But you will not find similar service in any other non-enfected system.
Just take the ownership of the key container and add Administrator with Full Permission. Then check the further entries. After taking the ownership you will be able to delete that service from registry.
Note: As per my past experience there may be several such service entries (created by virus) in your system. You can see the different service name in your next error message in sap installation.
If this happens, best way to completely format the system. Do the fresh installation while it is not connected to the network.
Install SAP as standalone system, install Antivirus, manually update it if possible and then connect the system back to network.
You can paste the Service name and Description, so that I can tell you whether it is genuine service or created by VIRUS.
Regards.
