PY: HRA Calculation on Basic

Hi,

HRA = (Basic salary __ 1000 rupees) %10.

Example:- Basic is 10000 rupees, so system shoul deduct 1000 rupees from basic automatically and calculate HRA 10 percent on 9000 rupees.

How to do this? pls help me

if you want this one at the infotype level

i think useing the User exit is the best option

or else try to make the percnetage as 10 % on basic at infotype and - the Rs 1000 at schema level

but i feel you are looking at the ifnotype level if yes check the option of useing User Exit

Tcode CMOD

User Exit is PBAS001 is the user Exit

Wait for other expert views inorder to know better on User Exit

User exit is working fine and am able to see the HRA amount in IT0008.
