Dear friends,
I have generated a line via the standard IP function generate combination .Based on some conditions , I have to do a reset.
I have written a FOX formula to test the conditions and if the conditions do not satisty I have to remove the generated line by
calling a function module in the FOX formula.
What function module can I call to remove what has been last generated in the Buffer.
I have called CL_SEM_VARIABLE=>RESET_BUFFER. in a function module but it does not work.
Thx a lot for your help.
Hi,
I feel that based on your scenario, you can create a characteristic relationship (CR) so that each time when your generate combinations is executed, the data validation is done through CR and if the data is invalid it does not transfer or save the values.
You can refer to the following link for guidance on creating characteristic relationship,
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/43/1c3d0f31b70701e10000000a422035/frameset.htm
NOTE:
If your requirements are not satisfied by creating attributes, hierarchy or DSO type CR then you can create exit type CR and try to include the code which you have implemented in your current function module.
If you any more queries kindly reply back to this post.

Balajee.

Hi.
If you use WAD you can reset buffer with command "RESET_CHANGED_DATA" attached to any button.
Regards.
