Hi all,
any experience how to solve Unbundling problem (Utility Company) at authorization level? We are on SAP ECC 6.0 (but we have also an SAP IS-U system) with two different company code (one for generation and one for distribution/transmission) segregate at company code level it's enough for compliance at EU directive? There are other particular data to be segregate?
Thanks.

Hi Massimo,
we have a similiar constellation (ECC 6.0, integrated IS-UT) and the unbundling already done. What we have to ensure is that the production company doesn't get any exclusive corporate information from the distribution company. We have solved that by dividung production and distribution into two different clients (of the same SAP system) and defining a couple of authorization object fields for an explicit separation. These fileds are
BEGRP
BUKRS
BWKEY
ISU_AKLASS
IWERK
KOKRS
KTOPL
SPART
SWERK
VKORG
VKTYP_KK
WERKS
The values of these fields are defined for each company and have to be maintained manually. The people who have to maintain the authorizations have restricted individual authorizations, of corse.
It works for us very well. We didn't have any problems until now.
Greetings, Dirk
