Hi all,

we recently implemented HCM Org Mgmt. i wanted to see who has access to change Org Strcutre or create new objects in Org Structure. my understanding was only transactions PO03, PO10, PO13, PPSC, PPSM, PPOME, PPOCE are related to this.

i went in to roles and filtered the ones having access to the above transactions. now in that i checked for Object PLOG (I belive this is only object that allows access to change Org Structure or any thing in OM. please let me know if this is correct or do i need to check any other objects or transactions.

Thanks,

SS.

Other TCodes in this list are PPOMW, PPOME_OLD.

The authorization part of Organizational Plan maintenance is restricted by something called Infotpe in HR. Please check the Organizational assignment Infotype 0001 and Actions i.e. 0000. The access to these ITs provides access to maintain the HR entities (Org. Unit, Position, Persons) in the OM.

Hi,

Thanks very much for your reponse, ok i know infotypes decides the access, we add these infotypes in role through PLOG or P_ORGIN right and give the authorizations. for OM my understanding was we use only PLOG and infotypes starts from 1*** is that correct or correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks,

The Infotypes are 0001 and 0000. Please maintain consistency in maintaining Infotype values in a role which is going to be assigned to the users with the TCodes as identified. By consistency I wanted to make sure that whereever you get the field Infotype (INFTY) in the pulled HR authorization objects correspond to the tcodes, please assign same Infotypes in a particular role. For other set of INFTY, please try to create another role.

You may check the TOBJ table to check the list of objects which contain the field Infotype. The other field which is important for update of the OM plan is Authorization Level (AUTHC).

Hi,

Following Tcode are linked to OM

PO03

PO10

PO13

PP01

PPOME

PPOM_OLD

PPOSE

PPOS_OLD

PPSM

PPSS

As it rightly said please check for the infotype also 0000,0001 and 0002 related to OM.

Check the given infotype under object P_ORGIN -> INFTY

You can also check the level of authorisation with AUTHC
