Hello,
We are reporting on CRM data and Implementation team created Restricted key figures for display.
Issue : For some records 0 appears in the columns agains restricted key figures.
Required : How we can display BLANK whenever zero is the output of Restricted Key Figure.
May be creating a Calculated Key Figure or some different approach.
Thanks,
Rahul
Hi Rahul,
If you are using 7.0 reporting tools you have an option to display empty cells instead of ZERO on the report.
If you are using standard Web template got to Setting ---> Data provider tab ---> You see an option for Display of zeros. Select the required option and click on Apply. This shoudl reflect on your reports.
If you are using Bex Analyzer: Go to Query properties --> presentation options ---> Display of zeros.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks
Hansa.

Hello,
I am using BEx Query Designer and executing the Reports on Portal can you suggest the steps.
I want to avoid display of zero for Restricted Key figure if the value is there and display as blank for the record.
Thanks,
Rahul

Hi.
In BEx Query Designer goto query properties and in one of tabs there is an option for displaying 0.
Select suitable option.

Hello Andrey,
My requirement is to display as blank when ever there is value coming as 0 for a Restricted Key figure.
Example - Restricted Key figure values
1
2
1
0
So the output should be
Restricted Key figure values
1
2
1
The record which is 0 should not appear and a blank should be there as if no value is there.
Thanks,
Rahul
Hi.
Your data:
CHAR | RKF
AAA | 100
BBB | 200
CCC | 0
If you want to show the next data:
CHAR | RKF
AAA | 100
BBB | 200
CCC |
(near CCC is BLANK) you should goto query properties in Bex designer, value display tab and select in "Zero Value Display" Zero as Space.
If you want to show another data:
CHAR | RKF
AAA | 100
BBB | 200
(do not show CCC because it is 0) you should create condition.
Regards.

Hello Andrey,
As per example that you gave
CHAR | RKF
AAA | 100
BBB | 200
CCC |
(near CCC is BLANK) you should goto query properties in Bex designer, value display tab and select in "Zero Value Display" Zero as Space.
It will work for all Key figures I think where 0 will come it get replaced by Space which is nothing but like a blank only.
I am working on this solution with client and will come back to you in case any doubts.
Thanks,
Rahul
