Cannot download WSDL

I am trying to test a webservice with an external url in my wsnavigator

I get an error as follows:

Cannot download WSDL from http://www.webservicex.net/globalweather.asmx?wsdl: Cannot connect to http://www.webservicex.net/globalweather.asmx?wsdl: www.webservicex.net

I have done the following settings in visual admin :

1. Open Visual Administrator of Portal

2. Server > Services > Web Services Container

3. Under the Runtime TAB, click on the Settings Tab (found along the bottom)

4. Please enter * (star) in the WEb Service Navigator White List > Allowed Hosts

Do we need to do any more settings in visual admin to be able to access external webservices.Please help.

Hi Anzar,

I would strongly suggest you not to depend on these external WSDL for your practice as these are not reliable.

Instead of this you can ask any co-worker who can write WSDL for you and deploy in local server.

And if you have MDM 7.1 environment you can try to generate your own services on top of MDM layer its fun and Easy.
