Reg. Fetch Materials based on Sales Area

Dear Experts,

Based on my requirement, i have designed the selection screen with Sales Org., Dist. Channel, Division and Material.

When the Sales Area is entered, i need to fetch all Materials and need to show as a mini report. I searched in Forum as i am unable to find suitable post.

Kindly help me to find the correct Database Table. I am currently using MVKE Table (Sales Data for Material). Whether is it right table where i can get the required information. Is any other table i need to look into.

You are in the right direction, MVKE is the right table to find the material by sales area.

Thanks for your immediate reply. Whether should i consider Division also for finding the Material. Coz. using Table MVKE, one can find the Materials based on Sales Org. and Distn. Channel. There is no field for Division.

Not necessary. For sales related data, it is enough if you consider Table MVKE. It also depends on your requirement to include more tables. Only if we know, suitable suggestion can be given.

Thanks for your immediate reply. My requirement is that when i enter Sales Area in the selection screen, needs to fetch all Materials belongs to the Sales Area. From Material, i need to fetch Bill of Materials and display as ALV Report.

Hi Ramesh,

If you want division also in the table then I suggest go for develeopment and use two table MVKE and MARA.

You will get a material with complete sales area.
