Cannot release Purchase requisition

Hi all,

I have created a purchase requisition by Tcode ME51N.

But when I release it by Tcode ME54N, there is message "PR xxx1 cannot be release". And appears display screen of the latest PR.

I don't know how to handle it.

Help me, please.

Hi,

Check the below cases for that PR.

1. Check whether the PR is put on HOLD.

2. Check whether all the line items in the PR was deleted.

3. Check whether the user is having authorization to release it. You can find it by opening a new session with transaction code

SU53 immediately after facing error.

HI,

PLease check what type of Characteristic you Defined for release of a PR, like Value, Quantity, Purchase grp.
