Problem in transporting Transformations

Hi,

We are transporting transformations to our production system (BW Patch

15) for the first time after the 7.0 upgrade. We are seeing the

following error message in the transports.

Start of the after-import method RS_TRFN_AFTER_IMPORT for object type

(s) TRFN (Activation Mode)

No rule

exists

Transformation : Rule 1 could not be imported

Message no. RSTRAN401

The transports went fine in our testing system. We have the "Conversion

of source system names after transport" mapping in the production

systems.

The transformation that got terminated has still the development system

reference in the BW production system. The mapping didnu2019t take place

during the transport. We searched for OSS notes for RSTRAN401 and applied some OSS notes.

But still we have the same problem. Please advise. Thanks.

Thanks.

Raj.

Just FYI, I had this same problem and just retransported and no longer received that message. Hope that helps

Your Request not contains the required Routines/Obejcts.

See SAP Notes:

Note 1377342 - Check for consistency of transformations in the transport

Note 1145554 - BI7.0 (SP 18) OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED during transport

Note 1412414 - (SP24) Content is not generated/transport errors

Thanks

goto RSA1 -> Transport Connection -> Transfer Rules - > select the transfer rules and collect all necessary objects and transport it again.

You need to maintain the source system conversion prior to the import.

Steps -

1. RSA1 --> Transport Connection --> Click Conversion (button at the top, else F8) --> Define the source & target systems.

2. Re-import the transport.
