SAP Installation on Windows AD Domain Controller

Dear Gurus,

I am installing SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 on Microsoft Windows 2008 Server, which acts as domain controller.

The installation stopped in this phase:

- Grant database access for account HOSTNAME\SAP_<SID>_LocalAdmin

I've read Note 986456 - SAP installation stops with xp_logininfo execution, but I think my problem is not it.

If I'm not mistaken, the installation tries to search for this local user: HOSTNAME\SAP_<SID>_LocalAdmin.

Meanwhile, if I see in Active Directory user, that user belong to a domain, and not local user.

Is it not possible to install SAP in that particular scenario?

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,
