MRP Profile

Hi Experts,

There are some existing material which i will not be going to use temporary(for month), So i am gonna use MRP profile , which will change the MRP type to ND from PD, but i also want material should not be involve in costing run.

There is check box- do not cost in Costing-1 view, but i can not use it with MRP profile.

Suggestion plz.

Hi,

IN BOM also if you go in item detail you have option costing relavency where you can define no costing relavency ,

Just check out whether it will fulfill your requirement .

Hi,

I want to use MRP profile to change , PD to ND & some other MRP view fields & check do not cost in costing-1 view in one go.

I can check Do not cost in mat. master as a second step, then why i will go for BOM .

But i wanted to do in a single step & not many.

Hi,

If am right you have another thread on the same topic, anyways as mentioned in that thread, once a material is created, changing values in MRP profile will not help change the values in the material master & moreover MRP profile does not contain the field do not cost. Hope that part is clear by now.

About mass changing values in mtl master, you can use MM17 to do the changes, MARC-NCOST is the field for do not cost & MARC-DISMM for mrp type
