What is Done Across Companies?

Hello:

I have a background in other ERP systems. SAP Business One is the only one that I have experienced where, if you conduct such activity as creating a user, that user does not even "appear" in other companies - only in the one that you created that user in.

If I'm not mistaken, you have to create that user in other companies, as well.

Regardless, what sort of setups can you conduct in Business One that appear in all companies and not just the one that you're logged in to?

Thank you!

John

Yes if same user will work in different companies then you need to be careful while defining user as User code should be same in all companies otherwise you need seperate license for each company..This user code field is case senstive

Hi,

This is standard system design. If you create user A in company A, it will not appear in company B.

The reason is licensing is controlled by using user code. You have create manually in all other companies to get same license.
