How to import G/L account per Item Level

Hi Experts!

My client has over 2,000 plus SKUs and 250 plus warehouses. The G/L Accounts are being setup per Item Level.

Is it possible to update the G/L accounts per item level using DTW?

I keep encountering the error "Violation of Primary Key" during importing through DTW. I am not sure if I got the template wrong. Is there any documentation as to the correct way of filling out the template so as not to encounter the problem if indeed my template is wrong?

have you added the Warehouses on Items ? you mean, now u just updating via DTW ?

Did all Whs added to all items ?

What I did was I created an item in the item master data. They were all already warehouse created. I used update in the DTW so as to update only the G/L accounts per warehouse per item.

So the answer to your last question is yes.

Hi Jenifer.......

If you are getting error through DTW then you should use the standard functionality of SAP thts Data Import/Export function. You can update your Item master by using this....

Hi!

You have to use oItems Template, on that use Items and ItemWarehouseInfo file. You need to give the Accounts in ItemWarehouseInfo file.

Yes, I used both of those templates and I have also assigned accounts. However, I am still unsuccessful in updating the warehouse info of the items.
