HI,
I am looking for KPI measures for MRP and Productions Planning process.
I am trying to put together a list of KPIs for our manufacturing processes, MRP, shop floor control, Inventory management and Production planning.
What should we be looking for to understand how well or how bad we are doing from process perspective from Sales Order creation through customer shipment? We want to understand the current situation and potential improvement.
Thanks.
Prasad
Prasad,
In addition to Rajarao's items, you might also look at
PurchOrd/ProdOrd qtys delivered early/late/ontime
Inventory (including WIP) net growth/shrinkage over time.

Hi Prasad,
You can focus on following points
1. Daily manually created purchase requisitions
2. Stocks & Consumption of critical items
3. Exception messages during MRP run
4. WIP in the process
5. COGI errors if any back flushed materials available.
Normally these KPIs will be defined according to the client business.
Regards,
Rajarao.
