Data not loading from Infocube to Planning Area

Hi All,

I have uploaded data in Cube through Excel upload.

i can preview data in data source.

When i 'm doing /SAPAPO/TSCUBE : it just gives warning message No data for selection.

I have activated the Planning Area & also created CVC as per MPOS characteristics.

Kindly let me know the reasons for this.

Hi Dev,

Considering that all the mapping is done correctly, you can check out for the following possible reasons:

1) Check whether any data really exists for the CALMONTH that you are putting as selection period in the program

2) Check selection condition, if the condition is in line with your CVC

3) Check grouping condition, as to start, select only product and location

Please try and come back with observations.

Hi ,

Thanx for the reply.

1) I can see data in data source with date format 01.2009. I have uploaded monthly History for one product for 1 year.

2) In selection condition is in line with CVC.

3) Grouping condition also display all char in MPOS.

While creating Infocube i chose (BI) type.

& i have added 0CALMONTH in infocube - time characteristic.

Hi Dev,

What I meant by - Check grouping condition, as to start, select only product and location - is that uncheck all other characteristics except the product and location. It often happens in production environment that some change in R/3 changes your characteristics, which is reflected in the infocube where you pull sales data, but the CVC in the MPOS is different. In most cases the navigational attributes are affected.

Remove all other characteristics other than product-location in grouping condition and check if it works.

Hi,

Can you try the following :-

1) use transaction listcube to look at your sales cube. Note the characteristics and note if the CALMONTH looks correct (sometimes there are format issues).

2) use transaction listcube to look at the internal planning object structure cube (make sure you uncheck the planning object id - it contains illegal characters which listcube does not like). Note the characteristics. It is important to identify which are the normal characteristics and which are navigational.

3) Check the variant for TSCUBE load. The characteristic assignments should just be the normal characteristics and should not include navigational attributes.

thanks for all the replies.I have corrected my errors.

1) created Infopackage & DTP- infopackage in RSA1 for cube.

2) Update Rule created for 0CALMONTH .

Now data is moving perfectly.
