sending mail as an attachments through alerts management

Hi,

I need to send an alert as an attachment, for this i have configured alert management but still im getting the alert confirmation as an URL format but not as an attachment.

Can anyone provide me the procedure to create and send the alert to mail as an attachment.

So, is there any procedure where we can send the alert as an attachment. or is a rule of an alert that the information can be only sent in the body of the mail but not as an attachment.

Any document that proves this would be a great help for me to justify the reason.

There is no direct configuration provision with the alert setup to send attachment. If you have scenario specific requirement, then you may try to catch exception in BPM and send mail using mail adapter which can then be used with attachments.
