Hello everyone,
is there a splitter UI element (like CL_GUI_SPLITTER_CONTAINER for classical dynpros) that allows adding several views and resizing?
Regards,
Alej
Not yet. Techincally the Splitter is implemented in the WD Framework in 7.02 and is used by the Side Panel. However it is not a general UI element even in 7.02. You have to use the Side Panel and CHIPs framework to utilize it. There are plans to implement the Splitter in a general way for NetWeaver 7.03.

Hi Thomas,
thanks for your response.
I just watched your recent preview of the upcoming 7.02 UI features (again, thanks for that!). Unfortunately I couldn't find some viable release information on the service / partner marketplace, just some references here and there on SCN indicating the begin of the ramp-up phase in Q4/2009 or Q1/2010.
Are there any official sources of regularly updated information regarding the release / ramp up of 7.02? And I hardly dare to ask (I know my higher ups will ask me the same...) but are there any further information (I can image how vague they must be at the moment) about 7.03?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Alej
NetWeaver 7.02 will ship as part of the next round of Business Suite Enahncement Packages. The overall name for this next set of Enhancment Packages is Business Suite 7i2010 (Innovations 2010). For instance for ERP - ECC 6.0 EnhP5 will also install NetWeaver 7.02. This next round of Enhancement Packages is scheduled to start Ramp-Up in June.
http://service.sap.com/rampup should have some information on the Ramp-Up once we get closer to the start of the program.

7.03 is the Enhancement Package that will come after NetWeaver 7.02. Is that vague enough for you. It is much too early to talk about time frames given that 7.02 hasn't started Ramp-Up yet. Development work on 7.03 has only just begun.
