PIR consumption with respect to sales order in APO

Dear Experts ,

IN Ecc sales and operation planning we have a functionality , when sales order is executed , Demand is automatically consumed

How to manage the same scenario in Demand planning in APO , and what are the key configuration

Hi,

I recently worked with a client for the same requirement.

Requirement Strategy 20 (In APO)works very well ,i.e PIR's or Forecast gets consumed my incoming sales order.

My question is how to default automatically the planning stratergy in APO product master

is there any configuration needed , or any customer exit must be activated

Hi Raj,

Please use strategy 40 in R/3 material master. Requirement strategy will be filled with strategy 20 in APO product master during CIF.
