I am using CRM 7.0 (Web UI) accessing it through Portal. The business role does not have authorizations to edit service orders, only display. When trying to create a confirmation from the service order, a warning message "Service Process xxx cannot be confirmed due to a lock" appears and I am unable to move forward - no confirmation is created.
I have confirmed that the service order is in the appropriate released status and does not have a distribution lock. Additionally, when we provide edit authorizations to service orders to the business role, this message doe not appear and we can create confirmations without issue. Any insight into why this message is appearing or how to resolve the issue without giving service order edit authorization is greatly appreaciated.
