OR condition on Characteristic value in BEx

Hi,

I have a characterisitic called "created by" which has values PC and RC.

For any particular record it may have PC or RC as a value and sometimes both.

When it has both the values , it becomes a new record.For example.

What i want to do is, i want to show in my report the record with value RC(only) when its available and when the record is not available with the "created by" value as RC , then show the record with the value PC.For exmaple if data is like this,

X X PC

X X RC

Y y RC

Z Z PC,

i want it to be shown as

X X RC

Y Y RC

Z Z PC

Any suggestions ?

You can use Restricted KF based on your vlaues RC and PC then fill up based on your condition.
