Assets opening balance is not reflected by transaction type

Dear All

If I look at the asset account for 2009, I can see the postings by transaction types.

However if I view the asset account for 2010, I can see the opening balance in totality.

Is it possible for the asset account opening balance to also be separated by transaction type?

Hi,

I belive you are looking at individual asset on Tcode AW01N on the Planned value tab. This tab will give you the transaction that were posted to the asset when you scroll the years and if no posting were made in that year system will say " No postings for selected fiscal year " . It just represent the transactional data on the asset for that year.
