Installing NetWeaver on an existing ERP

Hello all

I just have one question. Is it adviced to install NetWeaver on an existing server with 3 differents mandants in terms of CPU, memory etc...

We have a system SAP R/3 ECC6, on cluster AIX 5.3, DB Oracle and we would like to install BW/Netweaver. Do you advice us to install it on the existing server or is it better to install it on a new one?

Hi David,

As we don't know anything about your environment, we can't really answer.

But if you are speaking about production systems, I would never install BW on the same server as ECC6.

If your systems are test systems, it is possible if you have enough physical ressources (cpu, RAM and disk).
