Free good as promotion sales

Dear Experts,

could you please suggest me and give steps, my customer want one particulat material (lets say 1000 qyt) all to go free goods in an sales order, which is the best way to configure this.

Thanks for reply, but i do not have any main item in TAN and to assign TANN like below

eg)

OR NORM TAN

for free item

OR NORM TAN TANN

if it is not above case how will set up item catefory to arrive at TANN, should i create new item catefoy group.

Hi Siva,

Maintain it like given below.

OR NORM TANN TAN

TANN will be your default item category but if in some case user want to apply charge then he change it ti TAN.

Or if you sure that in future also, you not need to apply charge then

OR NORM TANN

One more thing, if this material is the part of any kit then DO NOT forget to the high level item category

OR NORM XXXX TANN

default item category is TANN and manual is TAN

Yes it will br normal sales as well as free good sales also.

Fine this will do for me,,

But, if is always normal then it can be TAN (default) and TANN(manual) as per ur explanation.

but if i dont want them to enter manually can i create a new document type say

ZOR TANN and go ahead and advise if it is free sales use ZOR..
