New document type for value contract

I want to create new document type for value contract , can you suggest me the configuration as well as areas to be taken care.

HI,

Define a new number range not in used by using transaction code OMH6 - Number Ranges for Purchasing Documents

Copy the NB - Standard PO to e.g. ZK

OMEC - Define Document types

Maintain :

Text for Document Header/Item

Text for Document Supplement

OMF6 - Messages Header Texts

Hi

1) SPRO- MM-Purchasing- Contracts-Define document types

Here you can create new value contract by copying WK document type

2)You can define new number range in OMH6 and assign it in step 1 against your newly created document type
