Hi.

I have this problem and it's hasnt sleep!!

When you enter a serial number in the Outbpund delivery and created this, It generate Lote Inspection.

This lote inspection hasn't got assigned the serial numbers.

The serial profile has this:

MMSL Actualizar docum.entrada/salida 03 02

PPSF Números serie en fabricación repetitiva 03 02

QMSL Actualizar lote de inspección 03 02

SDCC Control de integridad entrega 03 02

SDCR Control de integridad entrega RF 03 02

SDLS Actualizar entrega 03 02

SDRE Actualizar entrega de devoluciones 03 02

Can you help me?

Thanks very much.

Federico

Hello Federico,

Which inspection type you are using there? If you are using 10 or 11, I think these are stock irrelevant. That might be the reason serial numbers are not getting linked to lot.

Hi Anand Rao

I used the inspection type 10 and then I used 11. The problem is the same.

What inspection type I must use for the serial number to be assigned into Inpection Lot?

Thanks in advance

As Anand said, these aren't really stock relevant so I don't think the serial numbers will be assigned to them. You can't selectively approve or disapprove any individual serial numbered items in these inspection lots. The stock is assigned and picked on the delivery so the lot has no control over it at this point.

Hello Federico,

Can you please check in your system that you have ticked on Serial Number Management Possible in material master against inspection type 10 and 11. Also is it possible for you to explain the step by step procedure followed by you?

Hello Anand,

I tested with the Inspection type 05,10, 11,12. All of them had checked Serial Number Management Possible.

Hi Federico,

I also tested the same scenario in our test server. Following are my observations.

1. Inspection of inspection type 10 generated with respect to delivery number

2. PGI is not possible unless we clear this lot

3. The inspection lot generated is stock irrelevant

4. It is not associated with any material document

5. Hence the serial numbers do not get assigned to this lot.

But I think still your purpose can be met. Just go to record the results through QA32. Here you can record the inspection results as per serial numbers. Not only that but you can create quality notification also with reference to this lot and can mention serial numbers there in order to have proper tracking.

Hope this may help you. Happy weekend!

Anand Rao
