Problems with transaction UJFS

Former Member

Hi,

I have created some AppSet in my BPC. In the corresponding BW environment, I run the transaction UJFS. I introduce the name of one of my AppSet and the system tells me the following:

No data found for AppSet, do you want to create
the root directory?

I answer: Yes.

And there is a folder named "root" and nothing else. Did not have to be there the master data of my AppSet Apps?

What is the problem?

Regards,

Miguel.

When creating your Appset in BPC, did you do a copy of APSHELL? The file service should have been copied to the new appset name. Check the case of your APPSET ID in the UJFS transaction. Make sure the case of the appset name matches what you created in BPC.

Hi,

I tried to do what you say, but the error is the same.

Well, then the file service data for this appset was not copied over for some reason. Delete the appset and copy it again, and see if the file service data is copied this time.

Hi,

The problem also exists with the AppSet APSHELL.

That is not good at all. I would suggest deleting all appsets from that system including APSHELL. And re-installing APSHELL per the installation guide. Something went wrong during the installation of APSHELL.

Hi Miguel,

During re-installation as advised, please make sure the program execution " UJS_ACTIVATE_CONTENT "

(Transaction code : SE38 ) ends , completes without dump or errors. You may also check ( using transaction RSA1) availability of ApShell including InfoCubes ... in the namespace defined for BPC.
