Issue when printing to fax

Hi,

Recently I encountered an issue when I try to print a report with 2 or more pages to the windows fax driver.

If there's only one page I can view the fax's image atachment, but if there are more pages, then the image file seems corrupted and cannot be openned.

This problem occurs when printing directly to fax or printing to fax from the viewer.

I've tried printing from a XPS file to fax and everything works fine.

Is this a known Crystal Reports 2008 issue?

Can you print to fax from teh CR designer?

What SP for CR are you on?

What version of .NET are you using?

What's the name of the fax driver?

I'm currently with CR SP2 and .NET 3.5 SP1.

The fax driver I'm using is the Microsoft Shared Fax Driver, that came with Windows Vista.

I tried printing to fax in the designer, with one and with 2 or more pages, and when printing with 2 or more pages the image file is corrupted.

OK. Since it does not work in the CR designer, we'll need to get it resolved there first.

Post your query in the CR design forum;

see what they can do for you. Once it is working there, try it in the app. If the app fails, return to this thread.
