Hello,

at the moment I'm doing a homogenious systemcopy. Everything is working fine until the step:

crtr3inst sid(sb1) inst(30) role(*central)

this error occurs in joblog:

Object changed.

Object changed.

CreateInstObjects: Could not create sapservices entry

CrtR3Inst: Error creating instance objects for instance 30 of system SB1.

CRTR3INST: Failed to create instance 30 for system SB1.

Errors occurred in command.

Errors occurred in command.

The file sapservices contains the correct informations for the instance.

Do I have to patch the Kernel C70U0211? Because this is not the first systemcopy with this kernel release, but the first under V6R1.1

Hello Christian,

there are newer kernels available, but I do not think, that this is related to the kernel ...

Are you using QSECOFR, or might it be an authorization issue ?

Otherwise, you should check WRKSRVTBLE for this service if this already does exist - perhaps try to delete it then and re-create this service in order to see why it not could be created ...

(perhaps it exists with a different port number already...)

Hello Volker,

"Instance 30 of SAP system SB1 created successfully"

this was an issue of my user. Only the QSECOFR has got *RWX authority to the file /usr/sap/sapservices.

Thanks!

Christian
