Hello PI Gurus!
I've lost my thread "Resource Adapter deployment - problem with application reference". The tread is only visible in my watchlist and I can only see Christian Sy's reply!
And an error message is shown: "This thread is locked - replies are not allowed."
This is the link to the thread:
Does anybody know how to unlock?
@Christian Sy: Sorry, I cannot reply to your helpful answer!
Cheers,
Matthias

Matthias was the author of the original post which has been rejected, and is therefore not visible. Christian Sy was the responder.
I have reviewed your rejected posts. Check your email. You will have one on March 4th or thereabouts, telling you that your post has been rejected. Within that email is the text "<<Do not ask for or offer points>>"
Feel free to repost your thread, but keeping within the Rules of Engagement. A link to these rules you will also find in the aforesaid email.

Guys!
Thanks for your replies. I just wrote, that I will re***d good postings. Seems to be illegal. Or is it not allowed to ask about adapters? )
Cheers,
Matthias

Hi,
Actually the main purpose of blocking a thread which can be solved just by searching on SDN is to motivate the user for searching and showing his/her efforts on solving the problem.
Sorry I have not seen your actual thread & question, but above a general reason for blocking any thread.
Regards,
Sarvesh

As I clearly mentioned in my previous reply that I haven't seen your actualy thread so I cann't be sure it was simple or difficult.
Secondly I was trying to help you to clear the doubt that "why a thread can be blocked & what could be the reason to block it".
So that was jsut an example give in my previous reply. Sorry if that message created any misunderstandings.
Regards,
Sarvesh
Is it a bigger problem that just lost thread??
I've lost my thread "Resource Adapter deployment - problem with application reference".
Posted by Christian Sy and not by Matthias Kral .
Why does Matthias Kral worry about Christian Sy but refereing to the thread as "iI've lost my thread" as if he posted it?

Hi Siva,
This is not a question of bigger or smaller problem. This is a matter for providing information to someone how is not aware of Rule-Of-Engagement on SDN.
Secondly I think you have not seen the thread properly which is attached in this thread. Look it carefully because it was originally created by Matthias Kral but since it has been blocked therefore he is not able to find his original post in the same thread and it was answered by Christian Sy.
I hope this resolves your curiosity.
Regards,
Sarvesh
@SAP: An information to the author of a thread about blocking would be helpful!
This is done in few cases but you need to understand that it is not possible everytime. There could several threads to be cleared and at that time it is possible that Moderator feels not to reply individually. The word you used is not permitted and should be avoided.
This thread could be moved to Suggestion and Comments forum if further discussions are made. I am not locking it at the moment.

Prateek
The thread cannot be unlocked now.
Your content was removed because you might have disobeyed forum Rules of Engagement. Please go through the rules ones before posting.

Not sure what your original question was in the locked thread.....but there might have been some content in the thread which might have violated some of the Rule of Engagement of the Forum and hence the Moderators removed your questtion and locked the thread.

Abhishek.
