Sorting of Measuring Point in Equipment

Dear all,

I had created 24 Measuring Point for one Equipment.. and system has created all in serial order e.g. 150,151,152,153 etc..

But when i am seeing all these in Equipment it is not showing in Serial order...it is like

150.161.162.163.158.159.164.165.166 etc..

Kindly give your feedback.

Have you checked with Measurement Position. It is based on Measurement Position.

Mesuring Position is also in sort order....

I had checked by creating quite a few Mesauring points on same equipment and it is sorted according to the Measuring Position alphabatecially.

Of-course i can't forget u..:)....

dear i checked also but it is not sorting in Measuring Position...I had given Measuring Position as a Number: e.g. 1,2,3,....24...

What can be the other cause...???

send me a test mail at my yahoo id....it's same as satyam id...

But in our system sorting of measuring points is done by measuring point number and not by measurement position.

Thank you all for your suggestions....it is based on measuring position only....

I had done numbering as 01,02,03,04,05....24 instead of 1,2,3,4,,,,,,24....

it's fine now....

Rajat,

Measuring Point display in Equipment master will be based on the descriptions alphabetical ascending order. So you cant in measuring point number order.
