Extended search in PSV1 only working for object ID

Good afternoon

A user can only get the Extended Search functionlity in the TEM dynamic menus (PSV1 etc) to work if he searches by the actual obj id eg: 50031243, whereas he used to be able to search by using the word and wild cards eg: Intelligence or Int. I have looked at his settings in TEM and his parameters and they are all correct. How/where can I change this back?
