    Shreyas,

Hello. Just checking up on questions and I found yours.

Okay, this particular question may be tied to the specific device that you are concerned with (Android, Windows or IOS) as each of those clients are designed differently in one aspect and in one view they may share the same core code.

The older versions of screen set fields where highly influenced by the editor format and the newer version of the client is influenced by the actual OS that was released during that time.

What I mean is through out the history of the Agentry platform, newer devices gets introduce from users using stylus to users just using their normal fingers to do the clicking on the tablet. This influence the way the Agentry client was designed to support sizing of the field.

If I have to speculate and in your question above, it may be at the point that the Agentry team decided for your platform to hardcode the size to make it as best as it could during that time frame.

The key term that is important here is the knowledge of using the "Big Finger" methodology. This means that if your finger is too big, it may overlap with other clickable options on the screen. With this and some of the changes in our past Agentry client, the team decided to make certain things larger (technically hard coded it) to support fields, search screen and others.

If I have to speculate, your experience on this part of Agentry could highly be influenced by this change in the option.

My statement above could be related more tied to Windows tablets and if the core code is shared for iOS and Android then that may be affected too (See reference: # https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2132015 ) - WPF Client UI design too small for Windows 8.1 tablets (For touch sensitivity) <- this was referenced due to the level of effort that was accounted here for a lot of fields on the screen. So the answer could be that it is hard-coded.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Regards,

    Mark
