We are using BPC with HANA 10.1
We have the problem that both TIME and YEAR are string type characteristics, so you can not use offset for previous or subsequent years.
When trying to use variables of the user exit process type to obtain the desired filters, only those that are of the TIME characteristic are intercepted by the enhancement (taking as a basis for its generation an INPUT variable of YEAR). The same problem is presented with the characteristic SYEAR (Start Year) (attribute of the PRODUCT) to be derived from the year entered.
