MaxDB 7.9 ODBC Logon creates TWO sessions, only one is removed when doing a logoff

Hi,

we use MaxDB 7.9.09.07 on Windows Server 2016 (OLTP).

ODBC Driver is also 7.09.09.07 (non unicode).

When doing a LOGON there are TWO session tasks created, visible in Database Studio, one has a string in Application Server, the other is without a name but it is still there with the same Application PID. When doing a LOGOFF or shutdown of application only the NAMED session task is removed. This behavior causes a reach of MaxUserTask (=40) every day with only ten stations. Any idea what happens? We have a lot of sites with similar surroundings but only one site with this problem.

I guess I found the reason: the dsn didn't contain a valid ip address. I guess it connected to localhost instead, but with two installed network adapters there were to requests to the listener, only one was used by the odic driver. After entering a valid ip address everything looks fine now.
